And I'm still pregnant.

Yesterday we confirmed that I made a happy home for baby over the last 38 (almost 39) weeks. I had a non-stress test (NST) and a brief ultrasound to check my fluid. Both came back with good results, which is great for not needing an emergency induction.

The hospital called last night and scheduled me for a next day COVID test. This will be my second proactive test in roughly 10 days. An important step to protect the hospital staff as I will be laboring without a mask. Just funny to get two proactive COVID tests before labor due to the unknown nature of making a baby.

Baby Steadman has just under 48 hours to decide that it's time to say hello before they get a little nudge in the form of pitocin. Here's to hoping that they decide to come out soon. We can't wait to meet them.
