Our bathroom sink has been rusted though for months and it took us a while to find a weekend that worked for both of us to tackle this project. So finally when we found one I jumped at the opportunity and Bryce and I cozied up in the bathroom together and got to work.

I started dismantling all the plumbing while he worked to remove the sink caulk. After confirming that we should be able to drop in another sink, we drove to Home Depot. We picked out a ceramic sink so this wouldn’t happen again, and got a new faucet while we were at it.

After coming home we did a dry fit test and got to work. We taught each other new skills and took turns assembling things. When it came time to turn the water on, we had a minor hiccup before quickly fixing it. Just waiting on the paper bag test before moving all the toilet paper back in.

I’m really happy with the results and proud of the two of us for working together.
